Step 3 ~
The theme of a WordPress website basically determines the look and feel of your website. Themes not only determine what the colors and fonts are going to be but also how your pages and posts are laid out. We’re going to go over how to find them on WordPress.org, how to avoid some bad ones out there and how to find and install some premium WordPress Themes.

The subject of themes is a big one…the above is obviously the most basic and simple run through we can do. There are so many themes out there chances are very good you can find a few that will work for you right “out of the box.” Couple of things here…
Customizing: Typically you’ll want to do at least a little bit of customization to your themes starting with items like the logo, colors and so on. The basic stuff like this is either simple to learn or very often included in some sort of “Theme Options” area on the back end. Some of the free themes out there will offer some degree of built in function. Almost all premium themes (like Elegant Themes) will offer some pretty in depth “point and click” style customization options built right in.
Over-obsessing: One of the biggest stumbling points beginners run into is trying to make their website look perfect before getting on to the important part. Just remember this…the look and feel of a website is the just the wrapping…your content is critical. A beautiful website does nothing for you if your content is junk. This goes for a small business website, personal blog, online store or anything else. A simple clean site that coveys your message is 1000 times more worth your time than a great looking website (with all the flashy stuff) that does not help you achieve your goals. Good content = effective website.
Okay? Moving on…
